Welcome to George Suhon's web site.  George Suhon is an accomplished musician and vocalist.  With over forty years of experience entertaining audiences of all types you can be confident that he is up to any task at hand.  His broad vocal range and musical ability has allowed him to captivate audiences and earn the respect of even the most difficult critics.

George is a solo musician (he also performs as a duo with another musician/singer; for more on the duo performance, click here.)  He uses backing tracks for all of his performances.  But George's backing tracks are unique.  George arranges and produces all of his own backing track music.  There are no store-bought karaoke tracks involved.  He is dedicated to recording all of the background tracks himself.  This he does in his own studio, playing all of the instruments and singing all of the background vocals, which is a very time consuming task.  With over four hundred songs, he has spend much time building his repertoire.  But what you get is a phenomenal sound.  He records his background tracks with a "live" feel that is not  overly compressed as is the case with most backing and karaoke tracks, causing them to have a "dead" or distant sound.  When performing live George plays either the keyboard or guitar along with the tracks so it is truly a "live" performance and as much like a live band sound as possible and it is completely George playing everything.  There is no compromise in sound quality or repertoire, while still providing a visual focus, atmosphere and a dynamic live show which you just don't get from a DJ alone.

George's ability to change genres mid-stream is an added feature to his performances.  From Sinatra to the Beatles, from Mannilow to the Eagles, from the Rock and Roll era to the best crooners of yesterday, George is able to make the transition flawlessly.
